Mission and Vision

The mission of Strive Dance Co. is to empower individuals to embrace personal growth and self-improvement through the transformative power of dance. Our vision is to create a community of dancers who inspire and support each other to become the best version of themselves both on and off the stage.

An Indianapolis native, Meghan McGillicuddy is a choreographer, director, and performer with a lifelong passion for dance and storytelling. She grew up training and competing in a wide range of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, modern, and pointe. While she enjoys teaching across genres, her deepest artistic passions are contemporary, jazz, and musical theater — styles that allow her to fuse technical precision with emotional depth and narrative-driven movement.

Meghan’s choreography has earned numerous awards and recognitions at dance competitions, reflecting both her creative vision and her ability to bring out powerful performances in dancers of all ages and experience levels. Her work is known for its musicality, dynamic pacing, and striking stage moments that leave a lasting impression.

In 2024, Meghan founded Strive Dance Company, a Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful performance opportunities for local artists while building an inclusive, supportive dance community. As Artistic Director, Meghan is recognized for producing shows that are more than performances — they are immersive, one-of-a-kind experiences designed to captivate audiences and celebrate the transformative power of dance.
